The aim is to unpack this desire through the inspiration of our vision to Connect, Build and Send. We long to Connect people in with God and what He is doing in our church. Whether it be through media opportunities, online platforms or vibrant programmes, we want to leave no stone left unturned. However, the greatest way to Connect with others is through the people of our church. We want to be a family that Connects people in with God and sees many come to faith in workplaces, homes and communities – bring it on!
Jesus commands us to ‘make disciples of all people.’ Through the effective teaching of God’s Word, we pray that our congregation will be empowered by the Holy Spirit to grow in Christlikeness and desire to serve Him with all of their lives. We also want inspire and deepen a powerful sense of us being a family through social and fun events, but also loving pastoral care that sees us all looking out for each other.
Jesus says ‘Go into all the world…’ It is our heart that everyone who comes into our service and organisations, will always leave with an incredible sense of hope and that of being sent. Sent out to be lights that shines in dark places for God’s glory. We also want an expansive vision of what it means to be sent as we look to widen our spheres of impact across this island and others part of the world.
